My gran was a beautiful strong lady, and i can always remember her being a strong determined woman for as long as i could remember she never give up. She got diagnosed with Cancer back in april, and unfortunately died 3 weeks later. it generally was the biggest shock ever to get our heads round. When she was alive she would lay in hospital saying things like 'god will take me soon i know it' & alot of things like that she turned to god when things got tough. She also told me i was 'a strong beautiful wee lass and will always be here Favorite grandchild and that mr right is going to get swooped off his feet because im so stunning' i was her 'fav' because i was the only girl in the 'Little' Family, hearing that broke my heart. My dad and my 2 uncles did her proud at her funeral and when gran was alive she was generally so proud of her 3 boys. She passed away on the 17th april 2012 at half 5 in the morning same time as my grandad did in 08. the hospital she was at was Dumfries infirmary in scotland macmillan cancer ward and they were amazing because the ward had such a good atmosphere although it wasnt a nice ward to be in. The nurses and doctors did everything they could to help my gran and my family and i couldnt ask for a better place for her to have gone. Macmillan cancer support is generally amazing and my hat goes off to the amazing nurses rest in peace gran i love you <3
